Hoge Veluwe National Park

Hoge Veluwe (http://www.hogeveluwe.nl/en/14) is a national park near Apeldoorn, about 1 hour drive from Amsterdam. There are free white bikes to borrow to go around the park faster. It's a relatively safe environment to experience the Netherlands' bike culture. There's also an art museum inside the park, the Kroller-Muller Museum. There are many modern art master pieces. The most famous of all is Van Gogh's Cafeterras bij nacht (Cafe terrace by night). It's also got a huge sculpture garden. The needle tower is a structural masterpiece. Took me a while to try to figure out the load path.
