Antwerpen is a nice little harbour town in North Belgium. It's about 1.5 hour drive from Amsterdam, 40 min north of Brussels. It was once a busy port, then later beaten by Rotterdam. There are many beautiful buildings in its small medieval old town. A good place for a one day getaway.
