My first voting in NL

Quite surprisingly, we received the voting notices from the city for the coming elections. Although we are not EU citizens, we can vote for the water board representatives. There are many political parties here in the NL. 15 parties are participating in the water board election. On the national scale my guess is that there are 40. Most of them actually hold seats in the parliaments or municipal councils. We got interesting parties like Party for Animals, Green Party, Christian Union, 50Plus, Democratic 66, etc.
